Odessa College photography students Dave Thompson, Fran Sherpa, Jim Mosman, Kathleen Mahoney, Michelle Baggett, Brandon Hayse and Mayra Maldonado had work chosen for #tpsNewVisions: A Student Show, juried by Kenda North, professor of photography at the University of Texas, Arlington.
The exhibit opens Jan. 20 at the Tammy Cromer Gallery in Dallas. OC students and faculty will attend the opening reception and gallery talk by North with a public reception from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Jan. 20.
#tpsNewVisions: A Student Show will remain on display through March 31.
Each OC photography major had one work accepted.
Kathleen Mahoney had two works accepted. Brandon Hayse won an Honorable Mention Award.
North selected 50 works by 37 artists for this exhibition.
