ECISD issued a statement on Monday evening that detailed all ECISD schools and offices will open 2-hours later than regularly scheduled on Tuesday.
Buses will begin their routes 2-hours later than scheduled.
Overnight, our Transportation team will drive roads in the city and county to check conditions, and if the weather plays out as predicted and they are deemed hazardous at that time, we will announce a decision to close schools by 6:30 a.m.
Again, ECISD will start on a two-hour delay for Tuesday and will evaluate the weather and road conditions overnight and announce any change of plans by 6:30 a.m.
