2 top ECISD executives leave for MISD

The Midland ISD Board of Trustees voted Tuesday to approve the hire of two new district administrators.

Roberto Cedillo will serve as Deputy Superintendent and Ashley Osborne will serve as Associate Superintendent for Teaching and Learning, a news release from MISD said.

Cedillo and Osborne are both former MISD employees who most recently served in ECISD, where Cedillo is the Executive Director of Leadership and Osborne is the Executive Director of Talent Development. Both are set to begin at MISD on Jan. 30.

Annette Macias, who had been executive director of accountability at ECISD, left earlier in the school year for a position as executive director of State and Federal Programs at MISD.
