The Ector County Library announced on Tuesday its children’s department will be hosting its inaugural Literary Pumpkin Contest.
Contest rules include a person decorates a pumpkin to look like their favorite literary character. The library will display the pumpkins in the children’s area.
All entries will be voted on, and the top three will be awarded and earn prizes. A person interested in the contest has until Oct. 21 to submit their entry.
Entry forms and rules of the contest can be picked up at the Ector County Library Children’s Department.
Winners will be announced on Oct. 28 through Facebook Live on the Ector County Library’s Facebook page.
