ECISD sets celebrations all this week

Monday is a full day of promoting the Class of 2023.

Starting at 9:30 a.m. this morning, at Odessa High School, students and staff put out college-and-career signs (picture yard signs) with the names of college/universities/trade schools/careers the seniors have chosen to pursue after high school graduation. These signs will be visible outside all of ECISD’s high schools.

At 6:30 p.m. today at the Ector County Coliseum, ECISD will host its second annual College Signing Day event where every high school senior — who has chosen to participate — will stand up on stage, announce their intentions and later, sign a letter of commitment to follow through on those plans. The celebration goes along with the theme for the month — #celeMAYtion.
