Registration opens for all students on July 19.
Ector County ISD is switching to a new student information platform called Focus (it is replacing Ascender) and that new system will be ready at that time.
ECISD has been using Focus on a small scale for prekindergarten registration, and believe it will provide a much better online registration experience for you.
All student registration will be done online through Focus; our school staffs will be ready to help you if you run into any problems. Look for the “Registration is Open” announcements in your email, on Facebook and our Ector County ISD website, the newsletter said.
To help them, please wait until July 19 to set up your new Parent Portal account in Focus. The system is not fully ready, it will not prompt you for information or uploaded documents at this time, and setting up an account will not mean you have registered your child for school in the fall.
