Ector County ISD teachers who are pursuing National Board certification will be honored at a dinner from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today in the George H.W. Bush New Tech Odessa cafeteria.
Considered the gold standard for teacher professional development, this opportunity was made possible for ECISD teachers through a multi-year, multi-million dollar grant from the Permian Strategic Partnership.
National Board certification is one of ECISD’s strategic priorities, and approximately 40 teachers are currently working toward this rigorous designation that can mean additional pay for those who achieve certification, a news release said.
