PLANO, Texas (AP) — Diodes Inc. (DIOD) on Tuesday reported fourth-quarter net income of $29.7 million.
On a per-share basis, the Plano, Texas-based company said it had net income of 59 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 74 cents per share.
The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 69 cents per share.
The semiconductor components maker posted revenue of $350.4 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported profit of $98.1 million, or $1.88 per share. Revenue was reported as $1.23 billion.
Diodes shares have increased 16% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $81.78, a rise of 59% in the last 12 months.
