The Nature Conservancy’s Davis Mountains has scheduled an open preserve weekend for hiking, biking, equestrian, picnics, photography, birding and more from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Davis Mountains Preserve.
The Davis Mountains Preserve is about 25 miles northwest of Fort Davis on Highway 118.
Guests will be required to sign in and out at the McIvor Conservation Center. Camping is only allowed in designated areas and only on open weekends.
