ECTOR COUNTY FELONY INDICTMENTS: December 20, 2021

The following is a list of felony indictments by an Ector County grand jury. The list does not include those who have yet to be arrested.

ASSAULT

Jesiah Villescas, 21, was indicted April 21 on aggravated assault with deadly weapon, second degree felony.

BURGLARY

Dylan Daniels, 29, was indicted Nov. 15 on burglary of building, state jail felony.

CONTINUOUS VIOLENCE

Zacharia Lamont Jones, 31, was indicted May 31 on continuous violence against the family, third degree felony.

CREDIT CARD/DEBIT CARD ABUSE

Jesse David Navarrette, 31, was indicted on credit card abuse, state jail felony.

DEADLY CONDUCT DISCHARGE FIREARM

Jesiah Villescas, 21, was indicted April 21 on deadly conduct discharge firearm, third degree felony.

ENGAGING IN ORGANIZED CRIMINAL ACTIVITY

James Andrew Gomez, 34, was indicted Oct. 4 on engaging in organized criminal activity, second degree felony.

MURDER

Jesiah Villescas, 21, was indicted April 21 on murder, first degree felony.

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Garrhet Wayne May, 21, was indicted Aug. 24 on possession of a controlled substance, more than one gram, but less than four grams, third degree felony.

TAMPER/FABRICATE

Jesiah Villescas, 21, was indicted April 21 on tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair, third degree felony.

THEFT

Jose Luis Rangel, 46, was indicted Sept. 9 on theft property, more than $2,500, but less than $30,000, state jail felony.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF VEHICLE

Mecora Marie Smith, 32, was indicted June 8 on unauthorized use of vehicle, state jail felony.

UNLICENSED POSSESSION FIREARM BY FELON

Jesiah Villescas, 21, was indicted April 21 on unlicensed possession firearm by felon, third degree felony.
