Permian Basin Adult Literacy Center is currently enrolling for fall 2022 English classes. Classes will begin on Aug. 1 and late enrollment will end on Aug. 18.
Through a new partnership with Hearts for Health’s Student-Refugee Mentor Initiative, PBALC will offer English Language Learners the opportunity to work one-on-one with an SRMI tutor or participate in an SRMI tutor lead conversation group. The tutoring opportunity is only available virtually.
Participating students will be required to complete 2-3 hours of virtual class time with their tutor each week. Students do not need to live in the Permian Basin to apply. Contact PBALC before Aug. 7 to be considered for this virtual tutoring opportunity.

Classes and tutoring are open to adults 18 years of age and older. Students are required to pay a semester enrollment fee of $25.
