The West Texas VA Health Care System (WTVAHCS), a partner in the Vietnam War Commemoration, will recognize Vietnam veterans in a ceremony at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Permian Basin Vietnam Veterans Memorial, 9915 Wright Drive, Midland.
The ceremony is part of a nationwide effort of Americans uniting to thank and honor Vietnam Veterans and their families for their service and sacrifice.
“The ceremony is a simple, yet dignified way to welcome home living Vietnam veterans and extend our heartfelt thanks to the surviving families of those who were lost. We owe them our gratitude and admiration,” Kalautie JangDhari, director of WTVAHCS, stated in a news release..
