Caring for youth mental health in the Permian Basin

“How are the children?” This is the question mental health advocate Rev. Dr. Sarah Lund compels us to ask our community.

Her recent book, Blessed Youth: Breaking the Silence about Mental Illness in Children and Teens has impacted thousands. An ecumenical coalition of local churches invites you to hear Dr. Lund speak, answer questions, and lead discussion in small groups at a hearty luncheon. Educators, clergy, parents, therapists, and all who work with kids are encouraged to participate.

“Blessed Youth: Caring for Youth Mental Health in the Permian Basin,” is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, at the Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center Rea-Greathouse Recital Hall. (This event was rescheduled due to weather-related travel issues.) Tickets are available at Eventbrite for $15.
