A local restaurant reopened June 11 after it reportedly failed two health inspections earlier this month.
Buffet King, located at 4101 E. 42nd St., scored 66 out of 100 during a routine inspection conducted by the Ector County Health Department on June 7, and failed a subsequent inspection on June 10.
According to our media partners at CBS7, there was an exterminator at the restaurant handling the bug problem on June 10. Buffet King was allowed to reopen the following day.
Any restaurant that does not have a score of 70 or above is required to close until they can pass another inspection.
