“Bright Star,” the 2016 Tony Award-Nominated Best Musical written and composed by Steve Martin and Edie Brickell, comes to the historic Ector Theatre stage April 27, 28, and 29 through the partnership of Odessa College, Odessa Arts, and Basin Theatre Works. The musical is the feature event for the 2023 Odessa College Music Masters Series.
A joint press conference will be held at 10:30 a.m. March 29 at the Ector Theatre by the partnering entities to discuss the project.
“Bright Star,” an American folktale inspired by a true story, tells a moving tale of love and redemption against the backdrop of the American South in the 1920s and 1940s.
