This time of year, just after New Year’s, is The Epiphany Season – a “Time of Revealing.”
The time we remember the coming of the Magi to visit Christ. The Three Kings.
It is a time of revealing the Will of God in Christ Jesus. The salvation and reconciliation of man with God. We do resolutions at New Year’s with plans and goals for the new year.
However, the real New Year resolutions happen as the year begins and God begins revealing to us His plans for us.
It doesn’t take place all at once – the revealing is a continuous process.
Our plans, our goals and the plans of God all begin to come together – our plans mixed with the supernatural will of God combine to create the drama of our lives.
Perhaps the best resolution for all of us is to be resolved to parallel ourselves with where God is taking us and find meaning and joy in the trip. Good Trip!
