Ector County ISD leaders announced Monday the locations for the new middle school and the new CTE high school are now officially ECISD properties.
Superintendent Scott Muri and a few others will be hosting a very brief ceremony at 9 a.m. June 11 as signs go up announcing these sites as the future homes for new schools. There is a lot of work ahead to prepare these locations for building, but this will serve as a kickoff announcement, a news release stated.
Muri’s schedule for tomorrow will be:
- 9 a.m. – Arrive at the intersection of South Tripp and Hutson in West Odessa, future home of the new middle school.
- 9:15 a.m. – Group departs Tripp for Murphy Street.
- 9:40 a.m. – Arrive at East Murphy street location, just east of the intersection with Meadow.
- 10 a.m. – Return to Administration Building.
Muri will say a few words to guests and will be available for interviews at both sites.
