A 67-year-old Big Spring man was killed Wednesday in a two-vehicle crash in Martin County.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Javier Gutierrez was traveling north on State Highway 137 in a Ford F-150 when he took evasive action at mile-marker 314 to avoid rear-ending a slow moving vehicle and struck a southbound tractor-trailer.
Gutierrez was air-lifted to Midland Memorial Hospital where he died.
The driver the tractor-trailer, a 37-year-old man from Odessa, was uninjured.
