MIDLAND Midland College has announced that registration for the 2024 Kids’ College, a summer enrichment program where children can come to play, have fun, and experience the joy of learning in a safe environment, is now open. It is open to students who will be completing the first through sixth grade this spring.
This year’s Kids’ College has a new format that will allow kids to take part in a variety of different courses. Running Monday through Thursday afternoons from 1 p.m. – 4:45 p.m., this year’s schedule is broken down into the following weekly sessions:
- Week 1: June 3-6
- Week 2: June 10-13
- Week 3: June 17-20
- Week 4: June 24-27
The 2024 Kids’ College four-week program offers more than 25 courses for kids and parents to choose from, including sessions teaching arts, language, sports, STEM, computer coding, math, reading, and robots. This year’s program also includes special sessions from partnering vendors Black Rocket, Ninja House and Science Mill.
Limited scholarships will be available and based on the needs of the student. A scholarship application MUST be completed and submitted to the Kids’ College office. A link to the scholarship application is on the website, www.midland.edu/kidscollege.
