The United Way of Odessa 2024 Day of Caring is scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to noon April 20. This is a Saturday workday that includes the United Way staff and volunteers coming together benefiting a local business and organization on a project that will benefit Odessa.
This year’s project benefits the Ector County Library with courtyard cleanup and they will also be offering an act of kindness providing free, plain hot coffee to the community at CPL Rays Coffee, 3111 Faudree Rd. Customers are also eligible to receive a 50% discount on any size large coffee product on the menu.
The focus is to lend a hand in our community through improvement projects which include organization gardening and overall kindness.
Volunteers will meet at the Ector County Library, 321 W 5th St., at 10:00 a.m. The project will wrap up at noon. Work supplies will be distributed that morning at the Ector County Library. Morning refreshments will be provided and lunch will conclude the event.
