Special from UTPB

Over 50 UTPB faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community volunteers joined together at West Texas Food Bank locations in Midland and Odessa for Volunteer Day on Friday, Feb 16.

The Volunteer Day was held to celebrate UTPB’s 50th anniversary. Even Freddy and Fiona helped out!

It was a special day of service as volunteers worked together sharing stories, laughter, and a sense of purpose.

We prepared over 1,450 food boxes and packaged 500 cereal bags to distribute to our local community.

Among the volunteers were UTPB’s Human Resources Department, Student Life, Career Services, the Women’s Soccer Team, Staff Senate, and our community partner Enterprise brought their alumni and UTPB interns!
