The Odessa Police Department Honor Guard recently had the privilege of attending funerals of two fallen officers in Houston and Corpus Christi.
Fallen Harris County Sheriff’s Deputy Investigator John H. Coddou III passed away last month while assisting a motorist during a crash. Coddou had been with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office for over 20 years and was a U.S. Army veteran.
Fallen Corpus Christi Officer Kyle Hicks was shot while responding to a domestic disturbance and passed away four days later. Hicks is survived by his wife and four kids.
The Odessa Police Department would like to extend its condolences to families of both officers.
