MCH celebrates fundraising milestone for Children’s Miracle Network

PBCCU has now raised more than $1 million for CMN since 1998

Medical Center Health System announced in a Tuesday news release a significant achievement in philanthropy by the Permian Basin Chapter of Credit Unions, benefiting the Children’s Miracle Network at MCHS. After raising $105,589.55 for 2023, the PBCCU has now raised more than $1 million for CMN ($1,069,818 total) since it started fundraising for the organization in 1998. This milestone underscores the unwavering commitment of the chapter to making a positive impact on the lives of children through the Children’s Miracle Network.

“This incredible achievement by the Permian Basin Chapter of Credit Unions shows just how much they care about their community,” said Samantha Serrano, Program Manager, Children’s Miracle Network, in the release. “Having now raised more than $1 million for Children’s Miracle Network at MCH, they have and continue to help us provide life-saving equipment, education and training to staff, and research for the NICU and Pediatric Units at Medical Center Hospital. We could never say thank you enough to the PBCCU for their efforts.”

All of the money raised for CMN stays here locally in the NICU and Pediatric Units at MCH.

The PBCCU partnership started with CMN in 1998 with an annual golf tournament. The golf tournament has continued and grown into more opportunities, including raffle tickets, the Co-Op Miracle Match and other fundraising events.
