Literacy Coalition donates POWER Bags to Sandhills Family Clinic East

MONAHANS Sandhills Family Clinic East, located in Monahans, has received a generous donation of 25 POWER Bags, aimed at benefiting children ages 0-4 who receive vaccinations at the clinic. The Literacy Coalition of the Permian Basin, a dedicated advocate for education and community well-being, provided these POWER Bags as part of their commitment to supporting the community.

Delivered on Monday, February 26, the POWER Bags were carefully curated to provide valuable resources to young patients and their families. Each POWER Bag includes an informative pamphlet, baby books, and a baby toy.

The Literacy Coalition of the Permian Basin recognizes the importance of early literacy and education in shaping a child’s future. By collaborating with Sandhills Family Clinic East, the organization aims to contribute to the community’s overall well-being and promote a love for reading and learning from the earliest stages of life, a news release said.
