GOOD NEWS: Odessa Rotary Club recognizes new Paul Harris Fellow Brooks Landgraf

The Odessa Rotary Club recently recognized its newest inductee State Representative Brooks Landgraf as a Paul Harris Fellow to the Rotary Foundation at their lunch meeting on Wednesday, January 31, at Odessa College. The Paul Harris Fellow recognition acknowledges individuals who contribute, or who have contributions made in their name, of $1,000 or more to The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International.

In addition, the Odessa Rotary Club donated much needed supplies and a check for $250 to the High Sky Children’s Ranch as part of their Fifth Wednesday Fellowship and Service initiative geared at supporting local non-profit organizations. President Kim Ortega made the check presentation to representatives of the organization at that same meeting.

Rotary, the world’s first service club, is an organization of business and professional persons, united worldwide, who provide humanitarian service and encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and work to build goodwill and peace in the world. The Odessa Rotary Club was organized on March 3, 1938, and admitted to Rotary International on March 9, 1938.
