First Presbyterian Church recently held their annual Cookies and Cocoa for families where the Christmas story is told through decorating cookies representing the story of Jesus’ birth.
The children and their parents enjoyed hot cocoa and donuts while they listened to carols and decorated the various cookies as Cambri Allison told the Christmas story.
Participating children were: Emy Rodriguez, 6; Adam, 4, and Anthony Sanchez, 11; Karla Leyva, 12; Cayley Maestas, 8; Jovanny Hinojosa, 9; Amiley Huertas, 11; Malyki Menchaca, 4, and Maverick Huertas, 8; Kamyla Menchaca, 1, and Romyeo Menchaca, 8; and Evie Hawley, 12, Jennifer Meyers and Maverick Hawley, 6.
