West Texas Symphony presents cirque show

The West Texas Symphony has announced Cirque Musica Symphonic is coming to the Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. on October 14.

“This event will feature acrobatics and exciting visuals with your West Texas Symphony. As part of our Pops and Family Series subscription package, It’s perfect for audiences of all ages! Don’t wait to get your tickets, as they are expected to sell out,” said Ethan Wills, Executive Director for the West Texas Symphony, in a press release.

The show will feature the world-renowned cast of Cirque Musica performing alongside the West Texas Symphony orchestra performing top repertoire from the classical canon including Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto, Beethoven’s 5th and more, as well as original music.

Audiences will be amazed by today’s greatest circus acrobats and aerialists in spellbinding grace and daredevil athleticism. Plus, enjoy hilarious hijinks, and musical fun. The show blends today’s greatest circus performers with the sensory majesty of the live symphony orchestra for a spectacular show, the release said.

The West Texas Symphony is one of the largest professional performing arts organizations in West Texas consisting of more than 70 professional musicians and performing 17 concerts plus music education events annually.

Cirque Musica is produced by TCG Entertainment, the industry leader in the creation, production, booking and marketing of live entertainment productions and events. TCG has over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry with a focus on symphonic, family, music, and other live touring properties.

Cirque Music Symphonic is part of West Texas Symphony’s Pops & Family Series generously underwritten by the Wood Family Foundation. Tickets are $33 – $60 and can be purchased at wtxs.org or by calling 800-514-3849. All student tickets are $12 with a paying adult or valid college ID. A special discount is offered for groups of 10 or more.
