SBDC hosting second annual business, social media and cyber event in Lubbock

LUBBOCK The Northwest Texas Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Texas Tech University announced in a press release it will host the Second Annual Sharpening Your Digital Edge: Business, Social Media & Cyber Conference on Aug. 8 at the CenterPointe Event Center, 4925 Marsha Sharp Freeway, in Lubbock.

This transformative regional event equips entrepreneurs, professionals and digital enthusiasts with essential skills to excel in the rapidly evolving digital landscape, empowering those seeking to grow their business or elevate social media strategies, the release said.

This interactive event features experienced business leaders and industry experts who will share valuable insights on sustainable growth in the digital age, using emerging technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) and business automation, effective social media marketing and content creation techniques to enhance brand visibility and engage your audience meaningfully.

Carla Holland, executive director of the Northwest Texas SBDC, emphasized the importance of knowledge for business success.

“The Sharpening Your Digital Edge Conference will provide answers, insights and tips for small businesses to increase their business, marketing and cybersecurity knowledge, enabling them to grow and manage a successful business,” Holland said in the release.
