The 2024 SandHills Stock Show & Rodeo will bring the action in and out of the rodeo arena. New this year, during the six PRCA/WPRA performances, a lucky rodeo fan will win a nightly $1,000 giveaway. A drawing will be held, and the ticketholder who is in their seat of the matching ticket drawn during the rodeo performance will be declared the winner.
Each ticket will represent a seat in the audience of the Ector Coliseum, where the 91st SandHills Stock Show and Rodeo are held from January 4 – 13, 2024. The person in the seat with that correct ticket in hand will be the winner of the one-thousand-dollar cash prize.
“We are excited to be able to bring this type of opportunity to our rodeo fans. Every year, we think of ways to bring the crowd into the action, and for 2024, we are putting money in your pocket,” SandHills Rodeo Vice President of Marketing Nancy McCain said in a news release.
The rodeo action will bring professional cowboys and cowgirls to Odessa for the 75th annual SandHills Rodeo. SandHills kicks off the winter rodeo run and is one of the first stops after the Wrangler Nationals Finals in Las Vegas. Beutler & Son Rodeo Company will return as the Stock contractor along with 15x NFR Bullfighter & 10x PRCA Bullfighter Of The Year Dusty Tuckness, 4x NFR Bullfighter Nate Jestes, and 10x Prorodeo Clown of the Year Justin Rumford.
Final details of the rodeo promotion and giveaway are being completed. If no one is in the seat of the winning ticket drawn, the cash prize will roll over to the following night. Billy Black HVAC is sponsoring the nightly giveaways of the 6 rodeo performances.
