Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) will join communities across the U.S. to observe National Rural Health Day with the National Rural Health Day Celebration and Recruitment Fair noon to 3 p.m. Nov. 16 at the TTUHSC Academic Classroom Building, 801 W. Fourth St.
The event will include an awards presentation by Dr. Adrian Billings, TTUHSC associate academic dean and Rural and Community Engagement Division, Albert Ruiz, president-elect of the National Office of State Rural Health, will make closing remarks.
There will be a rural healthcare employer/TTUHSC job fair from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. as well.
