MTCU partners with Kasasa and Charlie Rocket’s Dream Machine for Midland’s Best Day Ever event

MTCU, in partnership with Kasasa and the Dream Machine, is hosting Midland’s local Best Day Ever event on Nov. 3 at 601 N. Loraine in Midland. Bank staff will be meeting with the 130 police officers in the city at the MPD to provide goodie bags with gift cards and more as a show of appreciation and to spread kindness.

Kasasa, which offers free reward checking accounts people love exclusively at community banks and credit unions, and the Dream Machine founded by Charlie Rocket, have joined with community financial institutions across the country with the goal of performing 100,000 acts of kindness for the Best Day Ever event which kicks off November 3 and continues throughout the weekend, a news release said.

MTCU’s local event is their contribution to the nationwide effort aimed at showcasing the significance of community banks and credit unions. The Best Day Ever is a nationwide event organized by Kasasa – an award-winning financial services and tech provider for community banks and credit unions – and the Dream Machine founded by Charlie Rocket, who have joined with community banks and credit unions across the country with the goal of performing 100,000 acts kindness over a 24-hour period and is meant to show how local community banks and credit unions are integral to the communities they serve and emphasize their role in preserving the vital human connection that is progressively disappearing from financial institutions.

This event also underscores the scale of the Kasasa network of community banks and credit unions, which combined represents the fourth largest branch banking network in the country.
