Basin PBS announces auditions for Main Street Unplugged Yuletide

Basin PBS is excited to announce auditions for the highly anticipated 5th-anniversary edition of Main Street Unplugged Yuletide. This beloved holiday program, known for its heartwarming mix of timeless classics and contemporary holiday music, invites local musicians, singers, and groups to audition and be a part of this festive celebration, a press release said.

Celebrating five years of spreading holiday cheer, Main Street Unplugged Yuletide has become a cherished tradition for our community. This year’s show promises to be bigger and better than ever before, showcasing the incredible talent of the Permian Basin region. The program aims to capture the spirit of the season through exceptional musical performances that are sure to warm hearts and bring smiles to faces, the release said.

There are two ways to audition for Main Street Unplugged Yuletide:

In-Person Auditions:

  • Interested performers can schedule their in-person audition by calling 432-563-5728.
  • In-Person Audition Date: Friday, October 20
  • Time: 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
  • Location: Basin PBS Studio, 203 N. Main, Midland
  • All aspiring talents are encouraged to prepare two songs that showcase their holiday spirit and musical prowess.

Video Auditions:

  • Performers may also submit their audition videos via email to: [email protected]
  • Deadline for video submissions: Friday, October 20, 8:00 p.m.
  • Video length: A maximum of 2 minutes
