Alzheimer’s Association West Texas presents Caregiver Conference: Virtual Series

EL PASO Alzheimer’s is not a normal part of aging. Empowering oneself with the right information and resources is the first step toward living well with a diagnosis. To that end, the Alzheimer’s Association West Texas Chapter proudly presents the West Texas Caregiver Conference: Virtual Series, scheduled for the week of February 19. These once-daily presentations include a “lunch and learn” format from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. daily.

Experts across our state will go online every day to discuss varying topics relevant to caregivers and their families. The weekly series is free and open to all, and presentations will be available in Spanish, a news release said.

For those located in Lubbock, the Garrison Institute on Aging will host a Watch Party in their main conference room. Meet with a representative from the Alzheimer’s Association. Light refreshments will be provided. All are welcome. Please join them at 6630 Quaker Avenue, Lubbock.
