GIRLS BASKETBALL: Permian suffers crucial district loss to Midland Lee

The Permian girls basketball team lost 50-30 to Midland Lee Tuesday night in a crucial District 2-6A contest at the Chaparral Center.

Permian’s Klarrissa Cruz led all scorers with 18 points, while no other Lady Panther scored more than five points.

Midland Lee (14-14 overall, 3-3 district) was led by Braydyn Hill, who had 12 points.

The Lady Panthers (11-14, 1-5) now sit two games back of the final playoff spot in the district with only four games to go.
