The Ector County Hospital District Board of Directors voted 6-0 to approve the fiscal year 2022 operating and capital budget and the ad valorem tax rate during a special meeting Thursday afternoon in the MCH Board Room.
Board member Richard Herrera was not present.
The rate will remain at $0.150000 per $100 valuation. The board also heard consideration for a no-new revenue tax rate, which would have been $0.156184 per $100 valuation and a voter-approval tax rate for $0.260545 per $100 valuation.
