4 charged with burglarizing, assaulting woman

A group of four people reportedly broke into a residence and assaulted three people in north Odessa.

Ashlyn Walker, 20, Angelica Rodriguez, 21, and Fernando Rodriguez, 24, were each charged with burglary of a habitation with intent to commit assault, a second-degree felony. The fourth member of the group was a juvenile male.

The reported burglary happened at 5:12 a.m. Sunday in the 6600 block of North Dixie Boulevard, an Ector County Sheriff’s Office affidavit stated.

Angelica Rodriguez, Fernando Rodriguez, Walker and the juvenile reportedly forced their way into a residence as complainants — 43-year-old Marisol Jacquez and 19-year-old Dalton Zambrano — stated they weren’t invited to the residence and didn’t belong there.

Jacquez and Zambrano stated Angelica Rodriguez, Fernando Rodriguez, Walker and the juvenile dragged 19-year-old Eduardo Rogoff out of the residence and assaulted him, the affidavit detailed. Rogoff reportedly doesn’t want to press charges on anyone.

Zambrano reportedly was attempting to shove Angelica Rodriguez, Fernando Rodriguez, Walker and the juvenile out of the residence and he didn’t wish to press charges on anyone.

Jacquez stated she was also assaulted during the burglary, the affidavit stated. Jacquez does want to press charges on Angelica Rodriguez, Fernando Rodriguez, Walker and the juvenile for breaking into the residence and assaulting her, Zambrano and Rogoff.

Angelica Rodriguez, Fernando Rodriguez and Walker were arrested, charged and transported to the Ector County Law Enforcement Center. Angelica Rodriguez, Fernando Rodriguez and Walker each had one bond totaling $50,000 and each posted bail on Monday, jail records show.

The juvenile arrested was transported to the Ector County Youth Center. Kevin Mann, the director of the youth center, said over the phone the juvenile had a detention hearing on Monday and was still in custody.
