Wedding-Day Weather

It was a beautiful sunny day with a light breeze coming off the ocean. It was an absolutely perfect day for a beach wedding.

Number of Guests

An intimate and romantic wedding on the white sandy beaches of Destin, Florida was Stephanie and Stephen's vision from the beginning of our engagement. It all came together with a beautiful beach ceremony with a bamboo arbor adorned with white flowing fabric and coral flowers set against the backdrop of the emerald waters of the beautiful Florida coast. The bride wore a gorgeous lace and satin gown with hand beaded detail and the bridesmaids wore beautiful coral dresses.

The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of white hydrangeas with green mini mums and pink roses. The bridesmaids carried hand tied bouquets of white and pink Gerbera Daises with green mini Mums. The bamboo arbor was embellished with a coral, white and pink mix of roses and hydrangeas. The white ladder back chairs were set up on the beach with coral chair ties. The tables at the reception on the deck off the beach were decorated with white and coral linens with coral, ivory and burlap flowers in gold mason jar centerpieces.

Favorite Detail

Having our nearest and dearest family and friends there to share such an intimate and beautiful wedding day was a blessing.

First Dance

Ironically, the first dance was "I Don't Dance" by Lee Brice.

The reception, held at sunset on the deck overlooking the ocean, hosted an International and Domestic Cheese Display garnished with fresh fruit, vegetable crudités and elaborate dips. The dinner featured a carving station with Sea Salt Roasted Beef Tenderloin in addition to a Prepared to Order Pasta Station with Sautéed Shrimp, Chicken and Alfredo and Marinara Sauce. The menu also featured Spinach and Feta Cheese in Phyllo Dough, Ocean Scallops wrapped in Bacon, Shrimp and Boursin Beggar Purse and Seared Sirloin with Pesto mayonnaise on Crostini.

The cake was prepared by Pastry Chef, Yascha, and was a timeless and elegant 3-tiered cake featuring hand-piped scrolling. It was a Red Velvet with cream cheese filling iced in an ivory buttercream.

We had personalized drink holders made for all the guests in coral and ivory with commemorative wording.
