WOMEN’S COLLEGE GOLF: UTPB wraps up play in Wichita Falls

WICHITA FALLS The UTPB women’s golf team finished 13th after the final round of play Tuesday at the Midwestern State Invitational at Wichita Falls Country Club.

After shooting a team total of 351 Monday, the Falcons shot 15 strokes better as a team during the second day of play.   

Former Permian golfer Emily Serrano finished as the low scorer for UTPB, finishing with a two-day total of 169 (84-85).

Imkeleen Meyer (79-71—150) of Newman took home the individual title, while Oklahoma Christian (304-314—614) won the team title by 16 strokes over runner-up Cameron (312-318—630).
