The Odessa College women’s picked up another victory Friday when New Mexico Junior College forfeited its win against the Lady Wranglers on Feb. 2 due to a violation of NJCAA regulations.
The Lady T-Birds defeated Odessa College, 74-71, knocking the Lady Wranglers from the top spot in the national rankings.
Odessa College now moves back into the ranks of the undefeated at 21-0 overall, 9-0 in WJCAC action. All the statistics from the game will count.
NMJC also forfeited its win on Monday against Western Texas, moving the Lady T-Birds to 6-3 in WJCAC play, three games back of Odessa College in the conference standings.
