WACO The Odessa College women’s basketball team, off for more than a month, made a victorious return, defeating Temple College 56-53 at the McLennan Classic Wednesday in Waco.
It was the Lady Wranglers first game since Nov. 29, 2018.
Kamryn Lemon scored a game-high 20 points to lead Odessa College (10-3), with Arielle Adams adding seven to the victory.
Makayla Gatewood scored 14 points to pace the Lady Leopards (9-3), with Doriana Brown finished with 13 and Alena Johnston 10 in the loss.
The Lady Wranglers return to the court at 11 a.m. Thursday against Hill College.
