Feb. 28 Odessa police arrested 27-year-old Victoria Gomez and charged her with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), a state jail felony; and possession of dangerous drugs, a class A misdemeanor. Officers pulled over a 2008 Pontiac, driven by Gomez, in the area of Seventh Street and Lee Avenue at 2:13 a.m. Feb. 28. K9 Jimmy conducted an open air sniff and alerted on the vehicle. Police then searched the vehicle and found a bag of methamphetamine and several Tramadol pills. Gomez, 2704 N. Tom Green Ave., was being held March 2 at the Ector County Detention Center on $8,500 bond.
