West Texas Jazz Society has scheduled The N’Awlins Gumbo Kings to perform at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the ballroom at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Midland Plaza, 117 W. Wall St., Midland.
The band features Brian Piper on piano, Mike Sizer on clarinet and saxophones, Steve Howard on trumpet, TonyBaker on trombone, Bobby Breaux on drums and Carl Hillman on bass. Admission is free for members, $40 for non-members and $5 for students with valid ID. Reserved seating is an additional $15. There will be a cash bar available. Call 559-2412 for reservations.
