MIDLAND Five position players and two pitchers from the Midland RockHounds were named Texas League All-Stars Friday morning as the rosters for both the North and South team were announced.
All seven players will be on the South team for the game that takes place June 25 at ONEOK Field in Tulsa, Okla.
Outfielders Dairon Blanco and Luis Barrera were selected as the starting left fielder and center fielder, respectively. Collin Theroux was named as a reserve catcher and Greg Deichmann and Mikey White made the team as utility players.
Pitchers Brian Howard and Kyle Finnegan were also named as All-Stars. Finnegan was promoted to Triple-A Las Vegas on Monday.
