The Odessa Chamber of Commerce 2016 Citizen of the Year award will go to Odessa devotee Sondra Eoff.
The Outstanding Citizen of the Year award is an honor given to those citizens who have contributed their time, energy and talent toward the betterment of Odessa and its citizens. This year’s recipient, Eoff, will be honored Feb. 2 with a luncheon at the Odessa Country Club.
Eoff was raised in Odessa, got married in Odessa, raised her children in Odessa, and made a career in Odessa, one in which employs numerous individuals within the community.
Sondra and her husband, Toby, are currently working on a public-private partnership with the City of Odessa to build the new Marriott Hotel and Conference Center in Downtown Odessa. Sondra Eoff is spearheading the investment for the company through Eofficial Enterprises, Inc., which she co-owns along with her husband.
