March 18 Odessa police arrested 46-year-old Samuel Ceballos and charged him with tampering with physical evidence, a third-degree felony. Officers responded at 1:09 a.m. March 18 to Grant Street Bar & Grill, 512 N. Grant Ave., in reference to a disturbance. Police made contact with one of the involved parties in the restroom, identified as Ceballos, and observed him trying to discard a white powdery substance into the toilet. The substance tested positive for cocaine. Ceballos, 1201 Bonham Ave., was released March 18 from the Ector County Detention Center on $18,500 bond.
