Rakayle Crawley-Searuggs

March 27 Odessa police arrested 24-year-old Rakayle Crawley-Searuggs and charged her with possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), a state jail felony; and possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) and driving while license invalid, both of which are class B misdemeanors. Officers pulled over a green Dodge Ram, driven by Crawley-Searuggs at Grant Avenue and Clements Street at 1:19 a.m. March 27. Police made contact with Crawley-Searuggs and could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. Officers searched the vehicle and found marijuana and cocaine. Crawley-Searuggs, 1102 E. Parker Ave., Midland, was released March 28 from the Ector County Detention Center on $8,500 bond.
