An Odessa Fire Rescue engineer uses a New York hook to pry up a section of roof where he and fellow firefighters had cut a hole to vent smoke and gasses at the scene of a structure fire on Friday, Dec. 18, 2020 at 1315 South Alleghaney Avenue. Eight Odessa Fire Rescue units responded to the scene and OFR Division Captain Cody Ritchie said that there were no injuries from the blaze.
