Humphries was a United States Air Force veteran who fought in World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War before retiring in 1971. Bo initially served as a squadron navigator in World War II, before flying in B-29’s during the Korean War and later C-130 cargo planes in the Vietnam War. Listening to Mr. Humphries and hearing his history was a special opportunity that I’ll always think back to and being able to capture portraits of him surrounded by his mementos was an honor.
