Bike repair tools hang off of a peg board at the repair shop inside of the new Peyton’s Bikes location at 3600 Billy Hext Road Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2021 in Odessa. According to the owner Jason Haislip, Peyton’s Bikes is know for being the longest running bike shop in Texas after starting as a bike and hobby shop in 1956. The shop was originally owned by Bob Peyton and his brother Dick who originally started the company as a toy shop in 1952.
