Cameron Dual Language Magnet Principal Jacob Bargas speaks about the strides the school has made to be able to be awarded the 2020 Schools Transforming Learning award presented by N2Learning Group during an interview Monday in Odessa. Cameron Elementary was one of seven Texas public schools to earn this award for provide innovative learning opportunities for students. The award was to be presented at the Principals’ Institute last summer, but the conference was held virtually due to COVID-19 restrictions.
